As a postgraduate of the University of Derby, where I specialized in illustration, I initially started my journey as a freelancer. Over the years, I have worked on various projects, including mural commissions at Littleover Community School, Vailant Live and Flo Skate Park.

​Additionally, I am the proud creator and publisher of my own comic book series under the brand Sy-Craft Comics, where I blend my internal query with compelling storytelling.  I am passionate in expressing the surreal and abstracting reality beyond our comprehension with subtlety as the glue that grounds and binds the viewer. Everything is inspired through the lens of my spiritual upbringing, using ink, acrylic, oil and my graphics tablet to explore colour, aesthetics and theme.

My most recent service outside of commissioned art creation and mural painting is live painting at events. In my more recent endeavours heavy applications of impressionism and expressionism have been key components conveying the fleeting ecstasy cocooned in varying moments of life. Time waits on nothing and as I grow, I feel a need to express this as a subtle truth, even more so when live painting. This gives my art an always imperfect outcome, especially as generative AI becomes more prevalent, now more than ever the sincerity and humility of the human touch must be front and centre.
