SYCRAFT COMICS
Sy-craft stands for - Syahi’s Craft.
A more deeper and longitudinal work I have been forming and slowly conjuring on the side (hence the pun - Side Craft). The point of Sy-craft Comics is to have crafted comics and other art based publications which allow me as an artist to have a stronger expression of visual narrative more on the forefront as opposed to one singular painting.
So far, the key series I have been developing and creating is the Sol Encounters series. A world-building project and multitudinal story filled with many characters who cross paths and encounter the lessons of exploring the depths of their reality. Many themes of identity, religion and belief as well as the supernatural all intersect in this epic journey.

MIRRORED MIDNIGHT
Mr Epoch, after many years away from home, longs to return to Normentro but, as the newly appointed Time Ranger of his age, he must first endure the trials of the Mirrored Midnight in the wilderness of Solus the ‘Realm of spirit and soul’.
During the Mirrored Midnight he must face new threats, overcome challenges, and solve mysteries, however his success or failure may affect the condition of his very soul, and through this, the future of his home and also his pending return.
Can he endure the mirrored midnight? Will he return unscathed?
THE INSPECTOR
NORMENTROS SPECTRE
The detective was tracking peculiarities within Normentro, Encounters with the Hypernatural.
However, what makes the cases of the detective sit outside of 'the norm' was the fact each piece of evidence were tied to articles from tabloids, somehow from the future. A future where hidden threats would emerge, shocking Normentro into a state of devastation, disease, disappearance.
Now with The Detective missing due to unknown circumstances, the inspector left with this information must pick up the pieces, finding other trusted likeminded individuals to form a covert team and uncover the root causes to the encounter to eventually plague normentro.
How will she do it, in a world which does not take kindly to the investigation of 'Encounters'.
ISILO
BEYOND BLUE
If there's one thing that's certain in this world, doing what's right doesn't always result in expected outcomes. This is something the one they call the Isilo knows all too well.
The Isilo is a figure of wilds, and cut from feral cloth. As beastly as they are... they simply search for peace.
However, when a pair of detectives see signs of this new and unusual visitor on the shores of Canvas city, they start a nationwide hunt to contain the threat of unknown, foreign identity. Especially when beside the foot prints left by the Isilo, is a damaged container with bodies piled up at it's entrance.

THE DECIMAL SERIES
So what is Phase 0 - The Decimal Series?
Phase 0, The Decimal Series is the first initial run of comics taking place in the Sol Encounters universe.
It will operate as a pilot series with issues starting from #0.1 and officially ending by #0.9, with the goal of using each issue to experiment, resulting in the best suited book format by the time we reach the official Issue #1. This will then be when Phase 1 begins. I wanted to create a buffer and way to run a live conceptualising process so that I could also gain live feedback and trial out types of content and see which audiences felt they best resonated with the storytelling I wish to put out.
Those who invest their energy, time or interest at this point will gain the reward of a flurry of mysterious narratives, event entry, merch and other perks.
